I may have bit off more than I can chew

I really wanted to make an entire website from scratch to start things off. The problem is, I have no real knowledge of what I'm doing and where I'm making this harder or easier than it needs to be.

I want to give this place a really old web look that includes all the jank that comes with it, mirroring old sites or BBS forums in terms of layout. But even that old school stuff is hard when your knowledge of coding is "I once put print("Hello World.") in Python".

So I used this layout maker made by sadgrl to give me something I can use temporarily as I get this place up and running.

Goal is to teach myself as I customize what this code has and play in my sandbox until I get the site looking the way I want.
